Who We Are
Ask-It Volunteers are part of the Education Department team. They help create an environment for excellent visitor experiences throughout all of RMSC’s exhibits and galleries. Ask-It Volunteers are directly involved with visitor engagement and assist in the delivery of programming, interact with visitors and groups, and help to maintain the museum galleries for a safe and clean visitor environment.
What We Do
Every Ask-It Volunteer begins by learning about RMSC’s history, completing safety training and Museum orientation, and working with our educators on staff to learn informal engagement strategies. Ask-It Volunteers spend time across all our exhibits, from exploring the glaciers of our Expedition Earth exhibition to examining the lives of our historical Native Peoples of North America gallery to helping our smallest guests in Adventure Zone. If you enjoy connecting with people and are passionate about science, technology, cultural heritage, the environment, and working with hands-on exhibits, then being part of the Education Department Ask It Volunteer team is the place for you!
